Internet concerns: Censorship or responsibility?
Library patron Don Best reported inappropriate use of the Internet by young patrons at the Tillamook County Library. Best was in favor of having the Internet available at the library but thought patrons should be educated about its use and library staff should monitor patrons' activities. Seaside Public Library director Reita Fackerell commented it is up to parents to monitor their children's behavior, and their Internet policy reflects that. Sue Jenkins, director of the Driftwood Library in Lincoln City reviewed their policy on Internet usage as well.
