Abstract

The Oregon State Attorney General stated that the sale of specific periodicals is banned by law in Oregon statute. For these named periodicals it is illegal to sell, print, publish, advertise, lend, give away, or show/have in possession. The periodicals were claimed to have been the cause of rising rates of juvenile crime, and the legal ban had been enacted in many states, none of which have been legally challeneged.
