Abstract

In this letter to the editor, the District Attorney of Lane County states that the Supreme Court, and he, agree with the notion that the First Amendment does not protect obscenity. He outlines steps that are being taken in his county to address the problem of people selling indecent literature. He also deplores "do nothings" in the fight against indecent literature.
