The book is available to check-out through the library, but remains out of classrooms pending a re-write of the school's review process
After concerned parent Hank Moss' complaints had Sherman Alexie's "Part-Time Indian" pulled from classrooms, the Crook County School Board voted to restore the book to the School library, but will keep the book out of classes until a more complete policy can be written and reviewed. Board members also hope to raise awareness of the proper complaint/challenge process.
