Abstract

This article lauds the decision of the Crook County School Board for reinstating Sherman Alexie's "Part-Time Indian" back into classrooms, but argues that by not following appropriate procedures and rushing into "book banning mode," the process was made unnecessarily long and embarrassing for all those involved.
