OCA's book concerns limited to children's libraries
The Register-Guard (Eugene)
Scott Lively, the communications director of the Oregon Citizens Alliance, defends the removal of children’s library materials that promote homosexuality. Voters in Springfield approved the amendment to the city charter, prohibiting the city from encouraging or promoting homosexuality. Lively argues that the OCA does not intend to censor adult library materials. The group will help parents who challenge “homosexual propaganda,” like the children’s books “Daddy’s Roommate” and “Heather Has Two Mommies.”
