Abstract

City of Seaside officials are closely monitoring the lawsuit filed against the Seaside Public Library involving its meeting room policy. Liberty Counsel, a Florida-based non-profit organization, filed the lawsuit after being denied use of a meeting room. The organization claims that the library’s meeting room policy is unconstitutional and discriminates on the basis of religious viewpoint.
