The Bureau of Labor and Industries dismissed allegations of ageism by Deschutes Public Library staff.

Abstract

The Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) dismissed Ken Ray's claim that he was a victim of ageism when he was excluded from a teen reading area at the Deschutes Public Library. BOLI found he was not denied services so dismissed the claim. Library director Todd Dunkelberg explained the policy and two patrons shared their opinions.
