Since the late 1980s, Pacific University has been building an extensive collection of retinal and corneal photographs used to study ocular disease. These photos were taken by Pacific University attending doctors and interns. Pacific University has thousands of these images stored as 35 mm slides in the basement of Jefferson Hall.
The slides have been scanned at a high-resolution and optimized for use in digital slide presentations. The images have been made available for download and use under a Creative Commons license. We ask for attribution to the Pacific University College of Optometry and the use is limited to educational uses, such as studying, grand rounds, and the development of lectures.
