Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to provide a brief history of free clinics in the United States, outline the need for a free clinic in Washington County and outline the process used to establish the Western Washington County Community Free Clinic. The clinic's operations manual is included as a guide for any future free clinics who may need a reference.
