Abstract

College career counseling centers endeavor to meet the career and graduate school advising needs of their students. Recently, career centers have begun to offer undergraduate internships to their students. The Career Development Center at Pacific University requested a program evaluation of the University's undergraduate internships to find out how students integrate their internship experience and if they are receiving the maximum benefits from the experience. Recent alumni and current students participated in the program evaluation. Methods utilized include a survey and interviews. Results are presented and suggestions for improvement are offered.
