Tawnya Pastuck is an optometrist and avid animal lover living in the sunny state of Florida. She received her Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry and fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry. She has published scientific articles, however this is her first children's book. Her passion for community service has resulted in routinely providing eye examinations for those in need and co-chairing the non-profit corporation Comfort For Animals. The love for two rescue dogs, Buddy and Cody, and dedication to eye health and vision inspired her to write this book. However, it was the support of her husband, Craig, and talent of her cousin, Hilary, that brought the book to life.

Hilary Webb has loved dogs for as long as she can remember. She has also been drawing for as long as she can remember. When she isn't drawing dogs at her home in Salem, Massachusetts, she is either working as a designer for a local footwear company or making small leather goods in her studio while her husband works on his music projects next to her. Hilary illustrated this book while she was pregnant with her first child and would like to dedicate this book to her new family.
