Frontiers in Optics 2011 (FiO) Conference Proceedings
Photophysics of a zinc porphyrin-based NIR nonlinear absorber are reported. Welloverlapped two-photon absorption and broad triplet excited state absorption result in a strong NIR nonlinear optical response that is especially useful in waveguide applications.
