Abstract

Many districts are being forced to make cuts within special programs due to the reduction in state funding. One program that has been on the cutting block in Douglas School District is the program that provides services for students who are "Talented and Gifted". With the growing number of academic requirements from the state, classroom teachers are being faced with numerous challenges. This research describes an analysis of what one particular school is doing to accommodate the needs of the students
