Abstract

This study explores the theory of Seven Intelligences, and how they are accommodated in the elementary classroom. Two elementary classes were observed, one a fifth grade classroom and the other a first-second grade classroom. The classes were observed between February and June, 1996. During this time, lessons and classroom activities were observed seeking evidence for the use of the seven intelligences.

The findings of this project suggest that seven intelligences can be addressed in any lesson, at any age. The results also show how to use the intelligences more in the classroom.
