This research project provides an introduction to the literature of critical pedagogy and assesses student dispositions concerning a high school course which employs the practices of critical pedagogy. The student dispositions reveal that the course effected a significant impact in the students' lives, enhanced critical thinking skills, and fostered a sense of personal growth. Other themes, conclusions, and implications are delineated, and recommendations for further study are also given.
