Forty-eight subjects were given two forms of an attitude assessment blank to ascertain whether or not verbal measures will predict physical behavior. Half of the subjects were in an experimental situation first, and their physical behavior was video- and audio-taped. About one week later, they were given the attitude test. The sequence was reversed for the other half of the subjects. Two hypotheses were made: H1 -- Behavioral scores will decrease as the prejudice increases. H2 - - the subjects' behavioral measures will not correspond with their attitude scores. The results of this research were consistent with these hypotheses.
