Keeping the books: Sally Underwood, county library board chair, flanked by members Lavern Melton, left, and Marjorie Miller, displays The Hell With Dying, a library book which received a complaint from a citizen objecting to the word "hell." The board decided to keep the above book and Daddy's Roomate on the shelves (H-H photo by Carl Anderson)
The Tillamook County Library Board voted to retain "Daddy's Roomate" and "The Hell with Dying." At the meeting, 10 spoke in favor of keeping the books and none spoke against it. Community participation was commended by Sara Charlton.
