Students protest in front of Thurston earlier this month
An opinion: two high school students, one from Thurston High and the other from Willamette High, express their opinions about the challenged theater production at Thurston. The Thurston student asks that the drama teacher be free to select what will be performed. Board approval on all productions will stiffle or possibly stop the drama program all together. The Willamette student speaks out about the morality of the performance , that profanity and vulgarity are not needed in quality performance.
