Library planned to purchase new copies of damaged books

Pages were torn and covers were removed from nine books on sex education at the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library. It appears they were vandalized inside the library. A similar incident occurred in 1992 when six books on homosexuality were vandalized. The library has a procedure in place for handling patrons complaints about materials and planned on replacing the damaged books.
