Debate flares over Playboy at library: Restricted access may be the answer
Lake Oswego Review
Lake Oswego Public Library, patrons
Residents of Lake Oswego voiced concern over the public library's decision to subscribe to "Playboy" magazine. Its selection was consistent with the library's criteria for adding items. Administrators considered keeping it in a restricted area after several issues disappeared. The magazine had been formally challenged at the Coos Bay Public Library, but it was retained there.
