About This Journal

Interprofessional Optometry (IO) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal dedicated to increasing the availability of high-quality evidence to inform patient care and practitioner education from an interprofessional perspective. Submissions, reviews and editorial involvement from the global community of health professionals are both necessary and encouraged for the ongoing relevance of the journal's content.

Publication of IO is coordinated by faculty from Pacific University's College of Optometry and University Libraries, in collaboration with optometry colleagues at other institutions. IO publishes two issues per year, with semi-continuous publication to allow for new articles to be published as quickly as possible.
