The hand held measuring reticule is designed to be used in conjunction with the biomicroscope. The measuring reticule can be used universally with all brands of biomicroscopes because it is simply held in front of the patient's eye while viewing the structures of the eye. It will be extremely useful in measuring ocular defects such as corneal ulcers and abrasions to one tenth of a millimeter enabling the practitioner to precisely monitor a patient's condition. The reticule will also be useful in measuring corneal diameter, visibIe iris diameter, neovascularization, and determining contact lens parameters.
