A Howard-Dolman device was used to measure disparity sensitivity at a distance of 20 feet for 25 subjects. Three stages of data collection included: baseline lenses with no tint, vermillion (pink) tinted lenses, and gold tinted lenses. Each stage consisted of six trials. Transmittance was kept constant at 71% for all trials. Analysis of variance indicated no significant difference. The null hypothesis, that the wearing of the tinted lenses used in this experiment will not alter depth perception, is supported.
