Abstract

In this project, the King Devick and the Developmental Eye Movement tests were used to assess the saccadic eye movements in a population of Native American high school students. Results revealed that a significant percentage of the students had eye movement problems that could interfere with academic ability. This suggests that there might be an unmet need for vision therapy in this population.
