Over the past decade, delivery of healthcare services changed drastically. These changes have been stimulated, in part, by rising costs of insurance coverage. Healthcare professionals are now, more than ever, being challenged to prove that their services are reasonable and necessary. As a result, the notion of improving clinical reasoning has been gaining an increased focus in the research and professional development efforts of many healthcare professions, including physical therapy.
