Crook County schools were right to ban 'Part-Time Indian' book

25 January 2009

Abstract

Marie Annette, guest columnist for The Bulletin, believes that Alexie's "Part-Time Indian" is smutty, immoral material that promotes sinful behavior and should not be presented to teenagers as award winning literature. She applauds the Crook County School Board for their decision to keep the book out of classrooms.
