1 March 2001

Abstract

This thesis will summarize the most recent understanding of the construct of cohesion in psychotherapeutic groups for the purpose of identifying the best current measures of group cohesion. Applications and limitations of these measures of cohesion as they appear in the literature will be described and critiqued. This thesis will also describe current definitions of process research and present argument for the utility of multimodal research design.
