Astoria Public Library: To cut or not to cut - sensitivity or censorship?

27 September 2012

Abstract

Objections to offensive language in literature raise a question about censorship. Should accommodations be made in language to meet present-day standards? Pancho Savery, professor of English at Reed College, will speak about censorship in literature at the Astoria Public Library. The presentation is hosted by Astoria Library Friends and Oregon Humanities.
