Board was right but…

20 March 1986

Abstract

In this opinion piece the author agrees with the decision to keep the book ‘Witches’ on library shelves. Removing a book on the basis that it might have a satanic influence is slipping back into the dark ages the author claims. The author does point out thought that the book itself is just not a good book. The writing is unclear and draws on obscure references that most readers have never heard of. The author concludes that the book ‘Witches’ is poorly written and wonders why it was even purchased in the first place.
