A new approach to teaching arithmetic to retarded children

Abstract

A group of eighteen retarded tenth grade students were studied. Standardized tests in arithmetic, reading and I.Q. were given :prior to the time visual training was begun also a simple group of optometric tests were given to insure that acuity and motor skills were adequate.
