Institute responsible

12 May 1985

Abstract

In this opinion piece, Elizabeth Swan disagrees with the libraries decision to not display materials from the Institute for Historical Review. Swan says that the institute has responsible and earnest historians who believe that recorded history can benefit from being re-examined when enough time has passed. She ends her piece with the question: Are patrons of the library not allowed to read history books for themselves, and to make up their own minds?
