Low-tension glaucoma a literature review

1 May 1991

Abstract

Low-tension glaucoma is a disease process characterized by open anterior chamber angles, optic disc and visual field changes typical of glaucoma, and normal or low IOP (with 21mmHg considered as the upper limit). This review looks at the current literature on low-tension glaucoma and examines the above characteristics and possible causes of the disease process. The differential diagnosis, management and treatment are also discussed.
