There is a difference

23 April 1985

In this opinion piece, Peggy and Steven Elefant express that they are hurt and insulted that the library would even consider to display material that blasphemes the Holocaust. The authors say that the display would not only condone but also sanction those who spread the lie. The material attempts to invalidate a very tragic event in history that killed 12 million people, 6 million of them Jews. The authors say that some of these 6 million where members of not only their family, but of their friends families as well. They end by saying they are happy that the library will not support this false information and that there is a difference between free speech and libel.
