Abstract
Research results showed that IRF clients coming in to therapy at lower functional levels were able to tolerate a more intensive regimen of therapy (more hours of therapy and fewer days) than that of SNF clients and still produce comparable outcomes. The notion that clients can tolerate more intensive methods of therapy during the early part of rehabilitation programs may aid practitioners in improving efficacy of rehabilitation plans.
How does time of rehabilitation intervention impact outcomes for clients undergoing total hip replacement?
