Lake Oswego Library displays banned books

3 October 1991

The Lake Oswego Public Library will display books challenged or banned in the past year to commemorate Banned books Week 1991 - Celebrating the Freedom to Read. Many well-known books have been challenged for their objectionable language or perceived threat to social values and ideals.
