Shield the young

4 April 1986

In this opinion piece, Eugene Neu Jr. states that the public seems to have missed the point of his previous letter published in the newspaper. He says the point is that the occult books available at the library are satanic and anti-God. He says that even if we can’t stop their printing, we can limit the availability to young people. If occult books are allowed in the library, then pornography should be allowed as well. Neu states that the first amendment applies to them as well. He ends by quoting the first amendment and states that if we are not a Christian nation then why does all our money have “In God we trust” written on it.
