Renewal of Rolling Stone

Oakland High School Board decided to no longer subscribe to "Rolling Stone" and to retain the back issues. Students may check out the issues with parental approval. Barbara Peebles, the library's Media Specialist, considered this censorship; the Board looked at the cost and value of retaining the magazine and decided to use the money elsewhere. The article details both viewpoints.
