Fight bad books with good

21 April 1957

Abstract

This author disagrees with general censorship and lists a number of examples in which it is insidiously eating at society. The author also poses the question of how to decide if a book is obscene or a great piece of artwork. The author's final conclusion is that more effort should be spent encouraging children to read good books, through book trades and exchanges, than trying to discourage them from others.
