Library censor angers patrons

Single swear words and sexually explicit passages were whited out in several books in the Coquille Public Library collection, resulting in approximately $300 of damage. Library patrons and board members were upset about the vandalism, and a reward was offered for information about who was responsible. The incident received nationwide attention in the media.
