Strand in row over textbook

A.L. Strand, President of the Oregon State College claimed he was being undermined by the State Board of Higher Education and Oregon newspapers in his use of a textbook, "The Elements of Economics," which teaches Keynesian economics. The President claimed the book presented theories that students would be able to understand and interpret.
