Library board OKs Internet plan

1 January 1999

Tillamook County Library board members settled on an Internet use policy which specifies minors will need a library card designating parental approval for filtered or unfiltered Internet access. It was decided adult computer stations would not have an Internet filter. Supporters and dissenters gathered at the library to voice their concerns. A library levy was on the May ballot, and plans for growth were outlined.
