Oakland high school library to do without Rolling Stone

28 February 1992

Parents of students at Douglas County high school requested "Rolling Stone" be removed from the library. The Oakland School Board decided to let the subscription lapse and require parental permission for students to see back issues. The librarian protested, saying the students had the ability to make their own decisions and requested a review board be established for future challenges.
