Banned Book Week' brings bay area library displays

The Coos Bay and North Bend libraries are both participating in banned books week by showcasing displays of banned books. Both libraries are tying in the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus discovering the new world to the idea of the freedom to read anything. The Coos Bay exhibit is featuring some surprising books that have been challenged while the North Bend focuses on books that have been challenged in the state of Oregon.
