PTA hears ideas on comics, recreation

25 November 1948

The Hillsboro Elementary PTA held a meeting to review the results of a study group on comic books. It was agreed that comic books were not going away, that children were going to read them, and that parents should not forbid them unless they can provide an alternative. It was also stated that it was up to parents to supervise what comic books their children were reading.
