Abstract
This study examined adolescent sex offenders on one dimension (institutional vs. community) and then compared them with two types of property offenders, (institutional and community). Institutional offenders were adolescents who had been placed by the Court at MacLaren School for Boys and community offenders were on probation and placed in the community. Two areas of psychological development were examined for each of these groups: Interpersonal Development and Moral Development. The file of each subject was also reviewed and scored for aggressiveness according to the Sellin-Wolfgang Seriousness Scale. Demographic material was also collected from each file for later comparisons.
