Abstract
There has been a great number of papers written on the topic of educating the learning disabled. However it is not common for the learning disabled students' views to be discussed. A conceptional framework of mainstreaming, special educati6n, labeling, and self-concept is used, along with observations and interviews, to develop an understanding of the perspective of one learning disabled child. Results found that any of the LD child's views and reactions were contrary to the beliefs of researchers.
