Comparison between the method of determining the power and axis of the cylinder by the marano photochromatic technique and the jackson cross-cylinder method

1 October 1966

The purpose of this thesis is to compare the findings obtained for cylinder axis and power with the Marano technique to those determined with the Jackson Cross-Cylinder method. Further, we are interested in the subject's evaluation of the relative ease of making the discriminations required by the two techniques.
