Abstract
In this study conducted at Pacific University College of Optometry, thirty 1978 model cars are measured with a new bot simple photographic method to determine the field of view from the driver's seat. The horizontal field through the windshield ranged from 78 to 103 degrees, with a mean at 92.2 degrees. Other aspects of the visual design of the autos were studied with the new method and the data presented.
