The role of the therasnore mandibular repositioning device in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea

The use of the Mandibular Reposition Devices (MRD) has been shown to have efficacy in the treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). The current study analyzes the effect that the Therasnore MRD has on the level of sleep apneas. Eighty-one patient charts were selected (by diagnosis of OSA with hypersomnia and treatment with MRD) and reviewed in this retrospective study with 43 patients having both initial diagnostic polysomnography and follow up polysomnography after a Therasnore device was fitted.
